Weekend Catch Up

I know, it used to be "Weekend Wrap Up" but since I barely have time to even breathe anymore, it's all become catch up to me!

Some other works were done and not finished. I get a lot of big projects that I have to go back and forth on for months! But I promise to always show you guys some of the finished products:) What am I without my critics??? lol

For the first time in a long time, I feel I must write some Etsy news. Has everyone seen this ridiculous new forum and team system? Now instead of weeding through 100's of promo threads in one place, we can join 100's of teams w/100's of posts/threads and still not get anywhere! Yay! Etsy f'd up again, what a surprise! So of course I did join all of those teams and I have absolutely no time to look at them or get chatty w/the other members.

Okay, so who really gives a cr*p about Etsy anymore, let's talk Jersey Shore! After this week's horrifying episode, I've been having trouble not thinking about what Ronnie and Sammi are still doing to each other in "the real world". He's obviously had some kind of permanent roid rage/narcissistic/ego trip/mania. She just hasn't learned that he's yucky and still thinks there's something special there. JWow continues to reinforce that Ronnie is awesome on the aftershow. I can tell Vinnie isn't siding w/Ronnie but leaning towards Sammi. Pauly D doesn't want anything to do w/either of them and just wants to keep on being low IQ on his own. (hey, don't get mad, you know it's true and I love Pauly too:). Situation could care less about anything other than that one bagel he gets a month for his carb allowance and just wants to see everyone miserable and dead inside like he is. I LOVE Snooki and Deena and there is not one evil bone in either of their bodies. I hope when everyone gets to Italy Sammi rooms w/them and JWow continues to pretend she's not mad at her.

This week is my 15th yr. wedding anniversary and I'm really glad we made it! Over 16 yrs. with 4 crazy people living together and we all still love each other♥

Bento a la All Things For Sale! Plus Weekend Wrap Up

All Things For Sale is my new one stop Bento shop! I just made this little Bento Breakfast for my son and he put up with it;)

I'm looking forward to using more of my new goodies and doing some girly boxes. With 2 boys it's hard to push the pink!

All Things For Sale

So besides Bentoing my butt off, what the heck else have I been up to? Well, more than I can handle definitely! lol


I've been working on some book covers, blog buttons, and general personal nonsense. Still playing w/the Kawaii images.

Graphic Design just gets better as you go along in your career and I still say stick to the crowd that makes you happy, such as Etsy sellers. Nothing beats creating art!


In other entertainment news... Jersey Shore pissed me off and completely sent me into a 2 hr. deep depression:*( I LOVE Sammi and I just can't take anymore. Those other b*tches are just completely jealous of her because she doesn't throw her "nana" in people's faces and she has the looks and class they lack. I know Ron is standing by her now, but I saw a preview where he is friends w/J'Whore (go Sammi;), and it's just gross. I'm hoping Sammi will find the biggest, most popular, best looking, richest, football player, and get married to him. She deserves some peace and to get away from MTV.


I also saw "The Swan", which I'm sure you can see cameos online for now. It's basically non-artistic porn and a lot eating disorder/schizophrenia. Not saying don't see it, on the contrary, it's an f'n masterpiece of crazy! Just please don't make me go w/you and see it again...


The band is playing today and I'm not. I have a new obsession (besides Bento) for getting back into dancing shape. I was a "dancer" not the kind w/a pole, thanks. And I haven't really done anything structured since the early 90's. So now I'm taking a dance class w/my bestie Heather and we have a show in June. Let's see how long it takes me to get tired of all the hard physical work.

Just sold... Weekend Wrap Up Short of it!

I so wish I had the strength right now to do the Long Weekend Wrap up, but I have to say I am completely beat down. To summarize...

Shopped til I dropped,
I have an extra chihuahua I'm sitting for (now 5 barking freaks!)
My kids spilled gingerbread icing aka glue all over the kitchen.
Date w/hubby to see Black Swan w/Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis was cancelled twice:( Really want to see this movie...

On the upside, I did get to eat some yummy sushi and have peppermint coffee. I am also sitting here eating Harry Potter rock cakes my son made.

Watched an amazing movie "Europa Europa", highly recommended.

Got a lot of free products for reviewing including; skin care and retro toys.

Life is good!

A Xmas Tale

When four of Santa's elves got sick, the trainee elves did not produce toys as fast as the regular ones, and Santa began to feel the Pre-Christmas pressure.
Then Mrs. Claus told Santa her Mother was coming to visit, which stressed Santa even more.
When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and two others had jumped the fence and were out, 

Heaven knows where.
Then when he began to load the sleigh, one of the floorboards cracked, the toy bag fell to the ground and all the toys were scattered. 

Frustrated, Santa went in the house for a cup of apple cider and a shot of rum. 

When he went to the cupboard, he discovered the elves had drunk all the cider and hidden the liquor.. 

In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the cider jug, and it broke into hundreds of little glass pieces all over the kitchen floor. 

He went to get the broom and found the mice had eaten all the straw off the end of the broom.
Just then the doorbell rang, and an irritated Santa marched to the door, yanked it open, and there stood a little angel with a great big Christmas tree.
The angel said very cheerfully, 'Merry Christmas, Santa. Isn't this a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Where would you like me to stick it?'

And so began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree.

 Not a lot of people know this.

Weekend Wrap Up Dec. 5, 2010

Hello again to all my Bloggy friends! What a peaceful weekend it has been. Started out rough w/a bit of scrooginess on my part, but it's shaping up to be nice.

Random thoughts (yes, again:) from moi.

I am still soooo in love w/this Jake Gyllenhal and Taylor Swift coupling! I saw the first pics of them in Target yesterday and I gushed. Taylor is so storybook romance, let's all live through her, k?

In cheesy entertainment news, fit for a 14 yr. old girl. Oh wait, that was me and so was the above! lol I saw Twilight Eclipse which has got to have the worst acting ever! Seriously, we are talking daytime soap where you see the mic move by accident!!!! Other than that, so much fun and enjoyment☺ I am on Team Wolfy and the more I watch these things, the uglier Edward gets. Can't wait to see how they uglify Kristen Stewart (not that she needs it, that girl is just unpleasant:(.

I have been obsessively playing "Angry Birds" on my husband's phone. My phone barely has on/off so it just wasn't cutting it! They have an awesome Xmas download and it's like an advent calendar where the open a new one each day til Christmas. Free, so check it out!

Finished reading Chelsea, Chelsea, Bang, Bang, by Chelsea Handler. Hillarious and not for the faint of heart. Everyone else will enjoy the cr*p out of it!

I'm looking forward to renting "The Black Swan" with Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis. It's dark/indie/lifetime all in one!

So that's the gist of it. I will post more later if my life gets anymore exciting!!! lol

Random Thoughts..

I'm rushing off to Vietnamese breakfast (my fav:) and I just wanted to put this out there...

Jake Gyllenhal and Taylor Swift, perfect and amazing! People don't give her credit but she's really intelligent and mature. I want this more than they do!!! lol

Tonight we return to the Challenge on MTV and CT and some other chick are coming back on. I LOVE CT and all his crazy and this is just what the boring Challenge needs.

Also tonight, Psych a la Twin Peaks reunion. For all of you that remember Twin Peaks this is going to be awesome! Don't miss it, USA, I think 9 or 10??

Weekend Wrap Up

Hi all!

Happy after Turkey day weekend massacre! I just gave all 4 of my dogs the leftover turkey and I think they were the only ones who could still enjoy it!! lol I'm turkeyed out to say the least.

Mostly just been working on a few projects. Yes, I always say I don't work anymore but how can I tell my best clients no? Let's just say I'm not seeking work anymore..

In the life of moi news...

Band practice today, not sure if I want to sing? I'm in a foul mood, my son has that anxiety disease where you pull your own hair out and it scared the crap out of me when I discovered it this week.

Last night we watched "The Prince of Persia" movie, which I liked and the boys hated. Too much mushy for them. They didn't love the video game too much either but said it was better than the movie!

My husband has decided to not only be a pilot, aerobatics champ, judge at competitions, drummer, etc. etc. But has now moved on to covet my bass. ♫Anything you can do, I can do better...♫ Mama shares enough and that is all I have to say about that! lol

Tomorrow I go and dump this all on my therapist, maybe I should just send her a link to my blogs???

Gotta do it! What I'm thankful for...

Happy advance Thanksgiving everyone! As required by the government that has chosen this day for us to be grateful, I will continue to hold up their requirement and post here what I am grateful for...

• My extremely intelligent handsome boys.
• Fantastic husband who put up w/me until I got my sh*t together♥
• Parents who are still taking care of me/smothering me after 39 yrs!!
• My Chi-Chis (chihuahuas), you always give me something to look forward to at home and keep me laughing.
• My ramshackle house. I love you for giving me shelter when I don't want to go outside. This also includes my undying gratitude for the fantastic central a/c in the summer.
• My meds, no explanation necessary.
• Nora ,John, and Cassidy for keeping us all mellow.
• Heather for always putting up with my flakiness and being a good friend no matter how absent I am.
• Very thankful that I bought myself the new computer and software so that now that I am broke I still can have the best. 
• My music and my bass, I enjoy you so much!
• I don't have to work if I don't want to, even though we need it.
• I have 2 working cars.
• All of my online friends, clients, and supporters.
• Did I mention we still have our house?

 There is soooo much more to be thankful for and as us Jews say around Xmas time "It Could Always be Worse!"
