Just a brief note that at the same time I was bloviating about country music Erik Loomis over at Lawyers, Guns, and Money was doing about the same thing

Hussein Obama and his Weatherman-loving, Derrick Bell-hugging ways with his health care and such." And he also has some interesting things to say about the marginalization of the "old" country style after the Seventies.
